Grade 4:

Where can the library lead you??

Books are just the beginning . . .

Grade 4 students can take up to 4 books at a time.  Grade 4 students can also come to the library after arrival in the morning and throughout the day.  Students can log into Destiny from home to put books on hold or even renew a book.  Grade 4 students are encouraged to participate in our Nutmeg Reading Contest throughout the year.

Students are expected to use information (both print and digital), ethically and responsibly.

Din is a popular choice on business and tech sites. It’s also a good font for creating page titles with impact.

Progress Reports in Special Area classes are posted in March and June.  In Grade 4, students are assessed by the following standards:

  • Students can independently identify materials to meet a personal need.

  • Students can distinguish among the appropriate library resources to meet information needs with teacher support.

  • Students can independently locate information from digital resources.

  • Student can independently locate books appropriate to their information needs.
